Meet Mrs. Faust
Greetings! I am Mrs. Gina Faust, and I am blessed to share Catechesis of The Good Shepherd with 3rd—through 6th grade students. I love watching the relationship between God and my students unfold. I love the awe and wonder in the Atrium, a specially created space to open their desire to draw nearer to God.
I taught preschool at St. Simon The Apostle for 20+ years after receiving my Early Care and Education teaching certificate. I've always wanted to teach religion, which came to fruition after completing Levels I, II, and III in Catechesis of The Good Shepherd. I love presenting materials and lessons from scripture and liturgy and nurturing students' relationships with God.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have four grown boys and seven grandbabies. We love spending time together at our lake house, playing games, tubing, skiing, and fishing. When not spending time with family, you can find me reading one of the many books from my collection!
Not only does St. Francis provide an excellent education, but I truly feel the presence of Christ in the staff, students, and parishioners.
