The third graders got to bring anything as a backpack. They got creative with their suitcases, baskets, pillowcases, and cereal boxes!
The fourth graders chose a cozy afternoon with stuffed animals, snacks, and a movie.

The 4th grade went to the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center, where they learned environmental literacy and stewardship of the Earth.
They explored various habitats, including bottomland forest, restored prairie, and an urban creek.

The 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Nutrition Elective put their learning to the test. They researched and created a healthy meal. Today, they went into the kitchen to make their meal. It included fresh fruit salad, brownies made with coconut sugar, almond flour, and dark chocolate, sesame chicken, açaí bowl, and veggie pasta salad. Everything was healthy and delicious!
